I just bought this at home depot:


250 CFM... actual air movement is 160.. Its as loud as 2 generic fans (80mm) With my computer visible from the doorway and about 20 feet away, it can be sort of heard its nice for 22 bucks.

Im gonna have soon pics of it mounted in the area where my lowe 3.5 inch bays are..

I would say that is between 5-6" in diameter.

I have it runnin and since i cut a large hole in the front of my case where all the **** fan grills were.. I have it in there and its on blowing in..

CPU temp is 93 degrees F
Mobo 77

Both side panels are off.. and the CPU fan a thermaltake TR2-M4 is on 50% of full throtol..

Ambient temp of the room im in same as the board and 42 % humid...

and cpu fan is at ~4650RPM....

Noise wise.. about as loud as the microwave being turned on and used..

Ambient is 75 in the room..

Now to work on it being mounted and pics in a hour or so.

That is so cool... I can't wait until you post some pics of it mounted. I thought it would be even better to just put it over the cpu, though?
