opinion needed

i have an abit vp6 mobo and want to run it with dual chips.I tried to do dual p3 733's but the problem was one was oem and one retail.so the mobo would not see both chips unless i lowered the speeds to like 600.
I was thinking about runnin 2 celeron 800's. Any opinions. i mostly want this machine as a game server.

celerons are not dual processor supported, sorry but youll have to stick to p3s

Probably all depends by the different stepping revision of your chips, and not to OEM & Retail, to check it you can use Sisoft Sandra, or Cpu-Z.
A solution can be to change one of your chip with a friend that have what you need.
