What kind of dremel bit/tool can frost small areas of polycarbonate? Search only yielded a sanding wheel but it seems to be too big for me. I need to be able to frost lines with a width of about the diameter of a pencil.

Another question, if I etch the edges of the frosted part, would the frosted part glow or just the edges? What if there was no edges, would the frosted glow?

Thanks in advance

the only thing I can suggest is using a diamond tip at low speeds or an engraving bit at low speeds the bits come in all sorts of shapes an sizes.

with using fine bits, you have to make sure to always keep moving (good eye hand coord is a must) or you will make small dents and holes in your poly. another thing you can try is cutting into a piece of sheet metal and making a stencil. run your steel brush over it to rough it up then sand it down. Having a stencil also allows you to have a guide should you decide to outline. cool...
