View Full Version : TCP/IP misconfigured....
I get this message whenever I try to edit a webpage in Frontpage. I tried removing and installing the TCP/IP protocol in the network settings, but that didn't help.

Are you running zone alarm.
Nope, just NAT on my router.
Clicking yes just tells me how to get into the network settings.

Are you running a firewall. From my research it looks like the port that frontpage needs it cant open this is usualy cased by a firewall.

Do you get that when you try to edit a webpage that's online, or one that you have saved to your harddisc? And why would you use Frontpage? That likes to add tons of it's own code and load stuff on to the servers that many just don't like.
The only firewall I'm running is the NAT on my router. I'm using Frontpage because I have it, and it's super easy. I'm trying to edit a file on the server. I've used Frontpage a lot on this server before, it's always worked before.
