147x10 ok, 141x11 ok, but no 147x10.5??

i have Curcial memory running fastest timing, CAS2.

ok when running 147x9.5 on my old AXIA

ok on my AYHJA 147x10

ok on same CPU but 141x11 =1.55G

but just posted and locked up when set it at 147x10.5 =1.55G too???

how come???

it's been running 147FSB on my old AXIA no problem. and the new AYHJA could runs at 1.55G no problem too (141x11). but how come i couldn't run it at 147x10.5????

by setting 145x10.5, it won't even booth Window. just posted, detected HD & DVD ROM, etc. then lock up!!

any idea??????:(

some boards have issues with particular multipliers. my 8K7A doesn't like 12 for instance, 11.5, 12.5 - no problem, but 12 is a nogo regardless of fsb.

Sounds like it's more of a problem with a different component. Are you using a different mobo or any other components?

no, it's the same componet. everything r the same but the CPU itself. :confused:
