Hi, I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone has a system similar to mine that they overclocked and what your results are.

Here is a list of my current system

AMD Athlon XP 3200+ Barton CPU
Asus A7N8X Deluxe MB
1024mb Corsair CMTWINX1024-3200XLPR memory (EXTRA LOW LATENCY 2-2-2-5)
ATI Radeon 9800XT Video Card
X-Blade Gamer case with 400W power supply (plan to upgrade power supply)
Cooler Master Jet Fan CPU cooler
Cooler Master Aerogate II fan controller (4 fans)
Two Western Digital 250gig IDE hard drives
One 120mm case fan (front (inlet))
Three 80mm case fans (window (inlet), rear (outlet), right side under MB(outlet))

I know my motherboard, cpu, and memory was built to push harder than they are with the "stock" settings. But I've never done any overclocking before. And I don't want to damage anything so I need some advice. I've been reading the FAQ's and Sticky's and have learned a lot. But any advice you can give me will be much appreciated.

It'll OC fine. I simply push the front side bus (fsb) and don't touch the multiplier. This way I also push the RAM as well as the CPU. The mobile chips have been good OCers from what I've seen around this site. I also locked my AGP/PCI bus but I'd have to look that up to know where that setting is. I did that a looonnnnngggg time ago.
