I know the PC 3500EL PLATINUM uses the bh5 modules but im curious, what would the standard EL sticks use? im talking trying to setup a trade locally and i might be able to get my hands on some 3500el, which ill assume is the model with copper spreaders. i cant oc to test them right now on this board, but i wonder, what chips? i might get a chance to test them on my friends board back home.
Heads up would be appreciated. i guess it REALLY doesnt matter, by the time i upgrade again, ill probably get better ram anyway, but hey. a cheap 2x256 combo is nothing to complain about, if its good ****, wicked.

It depends on when the 3500 EL module was made. A lot of 3500 EL used Winbond CH-5, if you come across a stick that is some months old, it will likely be CH-5.

My early ones were BH-5. They did 250Mhz 2-2-2-5 timings on my Abit nf7-s rev 1.2 with 3.3V :D
