tv wonder pro sound

i had a 9700 pro aiw before and the tv sound i got was pretty good. with the tv wonder pro, however, my sound is sorta wierd. when the sound gets to a high volume, it gets a little static. doesn't sound right. anybody know how to fix this?

Turn down the volume. You're experiencing "clipping" where the audio signal get's so loud that the computer can't handle noise any louder so it "clips" it. For a better explaination see this page (http://www.loudnessrace.net/techinfo/waveform.htm), though if you turn down the volume on whatever line you're recording your TV audio from.
