You should be able to use it. Don't see why not. Just make sure you get a slot1 adapter from a good company. I have an MSI "MS-6905 Master", and have had good results with it. I've heard good things about the Asus adapters, but haven't had the opportunity to try any of them, so I really can't say for sure. You can read up on some adapters here on the site HERE (http://www.overclockers.com/topiclist/index03.asp#ADAPTERS) . But, check around and see what other people are using.

I you try to stick a Pentium3 into a slotket, and then into an old Slot-1 board, it won't work- why?
- Older Slot-1 boards are built for 66mhz FSB chips, ie P2 and Celeron. P3s use a 100 or 133 FSB, so a Coppermine E or EB will NOT work in a slotket stuck into a board designed for the 66mhz bus. However if you are trying to use a Celeron in a slotket, you shpuld be OK- IF the Slot-1 board supports the much lower voltage of s370 chips.

If you mobo has a 66, 100, and 133mhz FSB, then you should be good to go with pretty much any Intel CPU you want. Otherwise you are stuck with a Celeron.

I have a asus P2E-B...i checked the manual and it didn't say anything about cpu voltages....only the memory voltage...which is 3.0 V....how do i check if it could support s370 low voltage?...

I have a Asus p2b rev 1.02. You should be able to use the slocket. However, you may have to update your bios to use the coppermine code. You will probably have to adjust the voltage from the slocket. If your motherboard is anything like mine, you will have to set the voltage to 1.8V (thats the minimum voltage outputed from my motherboard).

Where do i change the voltage of my mobo...??...cuz the manual doesn't show any jumpers that will change the voltage...if i change the voltage on the slocket, will that change it for the mobo too?? thx for all your help...
