anyone know of anyothers
can't you buy that stuff at an autoparts store. It is orginanlly used to test car cooling.

Yeah, you could buy it at a car store, or you could just put in some laundry detergent (though you don't get to choose your colors as much, though other soaps also glow, such as palmolive)...which might be cheaper. :)

cool not a bad ideal i might try soap but would that hurt the conductivity of the water

Actually a little dishwashing detergent acts like a wetting agent, like Water Wetter by breaking up the surface tension of water thereby allowing it contact every nook and cranny of your cooling system. You ever notice how liquids on some fabrics just pool up on it...soapy water can penetrate the fabric more easily. Dyelite can be found at autoparts store yes but not all have it and you usually have to ask for it as they keep it behind their counters. Make sure you get the stuff for cooling system and not for A/C systems as that stuff has oil mixed in. I got a 6 oz bottle for $6 bucks....yeah..its like three times more expensive online.

All you gotta do is take the ink cartrge out of a highlighter (it might take two for a large volume of water but one works good for about 1.5 liters) and put it in the resovor of your system and the ink glows really bright in a block light.

I wonder if this is feasible for bongs. My reservoir and tubing are both transparent...

evaporative watercooling warning

anything you add to the water will evaporate with the water in the bong. so if you wouldn't wanna inhale or ingest it, i'd say dont put it in the water with a bong system.

ahhhhh...wonder if there's such a thing as liquid nitrous oxide...?
