Before I joined I thought you were all crazy...well...I wasn't disapointed. :-) Anyway, I've got a few questions...first...how can I run my system (below) faster(who doesn't ask that)...and can I stop and restart analysis(by turning off my computer) or do you have to run it strait??? Just wondering...

Very good advice in Tim's article.. after that you might want to look here... (http://www.setiathomescreensaverspeed.co.uk/) but this is a WEALTH of info & not for the faint hearted (I killed my registry & computer following a tip or two... :) )

Here is what you need Windows CLC (ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/setiathome/setiathome-3.03.i386-winnt-cmdline.exe), Seti Spy (http://pages.tca.net/roelof/setispy/SetiSpy.exe), Seti Driver (http://www.wakeassoc.com/setidriver/SETIDriver.zip) and here are the instructions (http://overclockers.ws/seti/Instr1.htm) you need to follow to get them up and running :cool:

OK, when I run the CLC I hit 2 and it says that BiLLyXkiNG@aol.com isn't an email address is the thing but it is!

you need the email addy that you registered for SETI@home under... be careful of small changes or typos...

You need to use the email address that you gave Seti when you set up your account with them. That's how they identify you.
