Is it safe to remove a heatsink when it's been epoxied to the GPU? How would I go about doing it without damaging anything? My video card is way to hot and Leadtek's wimpy little copper heatsink is not cutting it :-/ .

Put the card in a ziplock bag. Freeze it for 15 minutes. Get a credit card and flat head screw driver. lay the credit card between the heatsink and the card's PCB. Put the screwdriver between the credit card and heatsink. Twist the screw driver which will pop the heatsink off.

OMG! Thank you! This card runs like 100*C and I didn't think there was a way to get this thing off! Gonna order me a waterblock for it right now...
