is it dangerous for the vcore voltage to be above 1.85?

and...should i use

10.5x147 - 1544mhz, score 9369
or
10x152 - 1520mhz, score 9393

well it depends, of corse heat is the first issue, and then if you put too much voltage to that little chip it may just puff out on ya. I have ran my 1 gigger up to 2.05 v-core so far without any problems but I had great cooling.

Yeah, I totally agree with TranceBear! Heat should be your #1
concern. I got mine running at 2.06, but you have to get your
cooling system just right!

i think it depends i have my Duron at 1.95 ive tried 2.05 and tried to raise the clock and FSB a notch and no go so i backed it back down to 1.95 i don't wanna fry this only chip i have. i think if you try to raise the voltage up and it won't clock any higher that is the limit especially since im only aircooling. i think im pushing it hard already every chip will clock different then others..

I had mine a 2.32V for about 5 months, but I think I've developed a loose connection on my voltmod cause half the time my voltage is at 1.94 now, and the other half it shoots back up to 2.32. Which is kinda annoying, cause it means I can't overclock as much as I used to (used to be a gig, but is now back down to 875). I was watercooled when I was at 2.32V constantly, and the max temp I ever saw was about 50C - but that's according to my onboard temp probe, which doesn't really help at all. From what I've seen my core temp could be as much as 10C lower than what Asus Probe tells me, especially with watercooling meaning little or no airflow around the socket.

Anyway, point is a long as you have good cooling you can even run 2.3V in the long-term without killing your cpu - mine's still here :D
