Hi,
I currently have a Dtek ww water block cooling a 3200xp @40fsb. The water is cooled by a DTek Pro Core rad with a shroud and 120mm fan. The pump im currently using is a Eheim 1046 Pump. Now when the pc is in average use ie mp3 playing and viewing webbies the cpu temp is reported as 40C water is 27C and room temp is 26C. Now ive tryed refitting the water block but the temps stay the same. Do i need to use a faster pump like a Hydor L30 (1/2inch fittings) ?
(P.S. There are 2 90Deg joints in the water cooling system, and i can not install the system without these)

Many Thanks

Trev

I dont have any first hand experience with that WW, but its is restrictive, so yes, you do need a more powerful pump. I dont believe that 1046 is cutting it. IMO a min for that block would be a 1048. but just to be on the safe side, get a more powerful pump, like the MCP600 or the hydor L25-35. WWs respond well to pressure and flow, or so ive heard.

get some more opinions before buying anything though !!
