A very interesting story indeed...

As some of you might know Compaq released a gaming PC a while ago. Anyways, I have a friend who works for Compaq and claims that Compaq is testing a new model in their lab.

Here is what he told me about it ( If I understood correctly) :
- It's gonna be released next quarter
- The parts weren't released yet
- It gets over 10,000 points on 3DMark03

Could this possibley be achieved, especially with a company like Compaq?

We will have to wait and see...

I doubt it, the price will probably be ridiculous. In my opinion the quality of compaq computers is sub par to say the least

its possible but its not going to be anywhere near worth what they will charge for it.

Whatever it is, it's probably got a X800XT in it, which will easily get the 3dmark03 score over 10,000. That's my bet at least, and they'll probably charge an arm and a leg for it.

yea, it's gonna have a nice video card, but everything else is up in the air here...

i hate compaq's with a passion, ive been through 3 of them before i came to my senses, all sucked
