Why would you want to go with PC3700, when you have PC4200 that will give you higher FSB?

what's new about this 3700? tighter timings? different chips?

sorry i mean new memory for me. I want tighter timings than 3448@260fsb.

ah, i see. cool then :) . chances are those are micron -5c chips. lots of ppl are looking for those.

with your adata, have you tried 3-3-4-8(or even 7)? i can do that on nf7s at 260 fsb, on intel platform it should be even easier to achieve.

i wonder if it is using the same micron or different chips???

well, situman, keep as posted as to what chips you'd get if you can :) .

nah im not gonna tweak it anymore, im very anxious to see what the ocz can do. last time i had a "brand name" memory it didnt turn out very well, corsair pc4000pro. worse 330 dollars i spent.

Just because they have a new revision out doesnt mean they clock better, it means they work better stock.

u guys think i will have any chance of hitting 260fsb@2.8v at looser timings?

Most likely should be possible if you loosen the tRCD to 3, given that you do end up with the Micron IC's that used to be used.

My rev1 do 250 3-2-3-8 which gives me about 5400mb/s changing to 3-5-2-3 gives no extra bandwidth.

my adata at 260@3448 gives me 6018mb in sandra. so maybe the OCZs are not as good as they are toouted to be. great now i have regrets.

There is no new revision of PC-3700 EB coming out, the existing 3700-EB still use the same Micron ICs.

alright so maybe i can run 260fsb with that thing.

Does this mean that you guys are no longer producing them? :eh?:

do you guys test those modules beyond their rated speed? if so what speed do u guys test it up till? I know anandtech was able to hit 261fsb at very good timings. Will most if not all kits of the 3700EB perform similarly or its another draw of the luck??
