Hi everyone i've recently purchase this epox motherboard for $281, is that a good price? (it's not the RAID version)
anyway, i just wonder if you guys who owns this m/b (i know lots of ppls does) know how to change the voltage? i can't do it on the bios. it's currently running at 1.85 V, but i only have a 1.2 GHz T/B, i dun think i need that much. so what would be the best o/c i can do on 1.75? is it possible for me to hit 1.4ghz (140 * 10) consister there are bout $70 price difference, after all overclocking is all about saving money.
any help would be appricate.

I don't get it 281 dollars for both mobo adn chip is still a lot of money the mobo should be 130 shipped and 1.4's are 115 shipped so 255 or so is a good price. now if you are talking board, chip, hsf you got a good deal. all US dollars.

The 8k7a's default voltage usually is higher than it should be but shouldnt cause a problem.
The voltage is adjusted by a jumper on the motherboard and can be found on page 3-6 of the manual.
I take it your price is austrailan dollars and no idea what that would be in U.S.

1.85 volts is the about the standard voltage for that chip. And the voltage is set with jumpers just south of the socket. Ram voltage is also set with jumpers closer to the dimm banks where the 100/133 jumper is.

The DDR voltage would be what is set higher. I believe it's 0.1v higher than spec.
