Is blue orb the best cooler for chipset n VGA cards? And do anyone has blue orb? Please Post here if you has 1!!!

It is probably one of the best coolers that is 'specifically' made for video cards yes. And yes I have a Blue Orb.

I have a blue orb and although I can not state that it is better than the competion it does appear to do its job reasonably well, it draws its power from a standard power connector rather than from the graphics card as the standard hsf did on my Geforce did and as such less demand is placed on the AGP slot. I also had slight problems fitting the blue orb as the mounting holes did not line up with those in my graphic card, to get around this situation I used artic silver in the middle and applied a small amount of super glue in each of the corners to attach (although I would suggest using artic silver epoxy if you found yourself in this situation)

i just got an orange orb yesterday..its 5000 rpm + cheaper than blue orb =)

if u apply super glue to stick the fan to the gpu then is it possible to remove it later?

maybe by freezing it then plastic card underneath and ply it off?

Super glue isn't really all that super. If you put just a small dot on each corner then it should be fairly easy to pop back off. All great deal easier then trying to pry the stock HSF off when they have it stuck with that junk they use.

my geforce256 uses tabs........but i dun think they can be used if i decide to stick one of those heatsinks designed for mini book pc

Just wondering which way the fan blows for any Blue Orb owners? Decided to check mine and it is blowing down towards the GPU instead of out(away). Wondering if this is normal or if this is somehow screwed up and if it's screwed up is it possible to fix it? Thank you in advance.
