so quiet!!!

i'm using my delta black label at 7v now and it is so damn quiet!!! i love it! but my full load temp (while folding) rased about 6c :mad:

Yeah i hear ya. I tried the 7v mod to my Delta, and man what a difference. But like you, my load temps rose about 5C, so I figured that I could bare the noise, and put it back to default.

try using sound deadening material it works real nice and temps stay the same. still some noise but the whine is gone :-)

the whine is the worst. i can stand much low frequency noise but not this thing! i was thinking of trying some sound deadeding material. do they really work? it would be great.

I got some "Xtreme Dynamat" at Best Buy for $35...four square feet, and it has adhesive on the back of the pads, ready to be stuck on. Haven't had the chance to try it, yet, since my case mods aren't done and that's just one more thing to cut through ;)
