Spybot and ccapp.exe no shutdown

Rumor has it that Spybot did something to my computer so when i go to shutdown, I get one of those program not responding windows for ccapp.exe. The task ends, then my computer won't shut down. I have to go to Start > Shut Down twice! I hate this! Its so annoying. Please help me

did you recently upgrade to RC2, I have noticed that mine does that(ccapp hangs), but windows ends the task and then it shuts down.

RC2? Is that a Windows Fix? I am running spybot 1.3

Not sure whats causing the ccapp to hang, but im pretty sure thats a norton antivirus component, so you might want to check out symantecs support page (http://http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/).

pretty much says nothings broken, just takes a long time for the ccapp to start and stop(its the autoprotect and email scan features).
