Hi, i bought my first intel rig in december, characteristics are at my sig...I had oc'ed it to 3.4 ghz stable with 1.57~ vcore 2.8 vdimm pci locked, timings were 2-3-2-6 , and it was completely stable running for till about the last few weeks. These last few weeks there has been some wierd things going on so i set my computer to stock settings... things were happening like failing to boot,... and sometimes when i load a game (Final fantasy 11) it would restart my computer....even when my system wasnt overclocked....

why could this be? help please

Thanks

I am thinking your power supply might be biting the dust.

Also can you check and see what your temps and volts are at?

Maybe think about a dust clean out, update bios' a drivers, virus spyware searches etc. I dont think it'll be the overclock here.

thx for the fast responses, voltage rails are at: vcore 1.47-1.49, Vdimm 2.66-2.7, +3.3v 3.25, +5v 4.97, +12v 11.92 i have had this powersupply for about a year and half.. and i updated to newest bios when i got ths in december.. also its not something else like virus since i reformated 2 days ago. also i get errors from other programs that need to close.... its annoying ... like it were completely unstable.. does dust really affects the computer? i have to say that theres plenty of dust inside :-/ oh, and last night, the lights went out....later on..my computer refused to even turn on... i thought it died... i was completely frustrated so i just went to sleep. the next day it just turned on fine....

thx
