i'm looking for a progam that can scan a computer, and tell me how its RAM is layed out.

i do allot of upgrades, and i hate opening a computer to see what type/speed ram it uses, and then how many sticks and whatnot the're are, before ordering.

it would be much simpler if a program could tell me! i mean, i know little about rambus, but i have to upgrade a rambus computer. Once i know the speed of it, i can do so. Unless its 4 sticks of 128 instead of the 2X256 i'm expecting, and i dont like opening it just to look...

so is there such a program?

cpu z will not work with rambus
i've tryed on an intel 850emv2 with 768megs of samsung rambus pc 800.
and the info under the memory tab is all just blank and greyed out.

I believe the newer versions of "Fresh Diagnose" will and it's free but it's bloated ;)
