266FSB cheaper than 200FSB, why?

Why would a 1.0gig 200mhz be more expensive than the same with a 266mhz?That doesn't seem logical.Does it perform better or OC better or something?

Yup. Volume sales. the 200's are a rare breed now so nobody buys them in bulk.

Plus the fact that the people who want them, are willing to pay a few bucks more for them. I'll take a 200fsb 1.0 anyday over a 266, because you don't need to unlock it. Just set it to 140-150 and go with the default 10x multiplier. They oc same as 266. Also you can throw it in a generic cheapo board and set it at 133 and get 1.33 all day long with default voltages. :p

Cause SD-RAM is cheapa than DDR
as well as mothaboards
and i guess 200fsb is gonna be rare soon!!

I swear by the 200 mhz FSB chips, they run hotter, but can handle voltage real well and are easy as pie to O/C.
