hello, just wondering i've got a tbird 1.2@1.4 cooled by a noisecontrol silverado and it's temp. is now: 50c cpu / 23c mobo
(antec case with 3 intake and 2 exhaust fans).
at the moment i'm running a few aps. word, winamp, int. explorer and seti.

i don't think this is to hot (is it?)

can running seti give me a good idea of my "normal" cpu temp. under load, or should i try a different program?

ciao

Hi U-96, wellcome to the forum,
your temps seems to be good if compared to mine with the same chip@1400Mhz and a Fop32: 57-58 degree C @full load with Folding@home that works 24/7, Mobo 29C and an ambient temp of 30-35C.
Yes Seti is good to check temps @full load like Folding :D

those aren't great, but they aren't dangerous either. If its stable, nice overclock!

thanks guys,
well everything is stable so far, after running seti for 5 hours now the cpu temp. has gone up to 51c, nothing shocking.

however i thought the silverado would perform better, isn't bad but just insn't super either.

on the other hand, its'silent.

cant' have everything eh?
:D

Mine is rock stable, even if I'm thinking to upgrade to an SK6 for more speed :D
