Dang, I get 43 when I move my mouse very fast and 100 if I move it at a normal speed...this is with the ball mouse that came with the compaq system I'm on right now.
My MS Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 and Wireless Optical 2.0 are both approx. 125Hz. That killed 5 min :p

I forgot to mention i have a 5 button MS Intellimouse
I got about 175 solid. MS intelli mouse with high sensitivity (don't know if that makes a difference)
Jeez, are you guys telling me that my 2-button-no-mousewheel-generic-pos-ball-mouse is in 2nd place? 210Hz average, 230Hz if I try really hard. Absolute minimum I can get if I move it REALLY slow is 100Hz...

150Hz, even though it's set to 200 in the control panel. When I move it one pixel at a time I get 6Hz though :P

I get 100Hz on my MS IntelliMouse Explore but its using the PS2 adapter, would preformance improve if I used USB?
This is the most pointless thing ever.
The rate rarely changes above the rate set in the Advance propters, Win XP Comes Default at 100Hz for ps/2 but you can switch it up to 200hz
If you've got a USB mouse you'll be at 125hz, thats the way it works
im getting a max and average of 80hz.... with my Optical Wireless Microsoft 2.0A

I think someone isn't telling the whole truth. Until I see a screenshot of whattheschmidt, I don't believe your results. Because everyone here is averaging 150, with jigpu's 230 being the highest.

I just got 1267hz. Must have been a glitch or something. My average is about 125hz with a Logitec MouseMan Dual Optical.

Though as a senior I've got to say it.... You might wanna edit that screenshot ere a mod sees it and gets you on bypassing the swear filter ;)

125, pegs at it. mx700.
but it is a usb mouse. so apparently this is normal... eh, I cant make it skip, back and forth as fast as I can and it wont skip. so to me anything more is just gravy.
like argueing 100fps vs 200fps when the screen refresh is only 75fps.

i see you are new here, re-read the rules, and edit that screenshot before a mod does it for you. they don't permit flaming/swearing.
Same mouse, same speed as ares350 (mx700 125hz avg)
im getting 195 average with my logitech mx310 optical. fine for me. :)
Aw it always turns out this way, I have the luser mouse :(
to quote the read me file included with the little program.
"It's possible that the rate is a bit inaccurate, especially at
high rates (>=100 Hz)."
on a side note, theres a very easy glitch to this program.
open this, and then open other programs, and then your rates shoot way beyond 100.

lol, I opened 3dmark and got 1800. then 500, but only for a split second. if you opened something that took a while to load like photoshop or something, itd probably get a high average.
programs in the background dont affect it, only when you open them.

I just got a 1500Hz ave with a few over single scores over 2000Hz by opening Rate cheacker then opening Kazaa and quickly bringing up the rate cheacker and run across my touch pad . so it is very easy to cheat

I have a wireless Logitech MouseMan but I'm not sure if it's dual optical. I've gotten up to 3143Hz, around 500Hz avg. This is why I'm running out friggin batteries every 3 weeks . Any way to tone down the frequency?

nope, plus wireless mice arent really a viable option for the amount of computer usage they may have to endure
