Hello, just outta curiosity  , i was wondering if this was ok temp?
Load:
CPU 43c
MB 30c
case 26c
Idle:
CPU 30c
MB 28c
Case 25c
I am running a stock Tbird 1.2g 266fsb. 2 exhaust 80mm, hsf on cpu, dual hsf voodoo3 3000, Radio Shack turbo fan, hsf on northbridge (or is it the southbridge? was installed already), and of course the pwrsup exhaust fan. oh room temp is 24c+/- 2f. Trying to get good cooling before overclocking. I will be adding a fan to the Hard drive but I noticed the cpu really climbs. I got the cpu hsf with the comp so I'm thinking maybe I should get a better one. Post edited by Forum Moderator. Newbie_Doo

:) Oh good. I went into this thing blindfolded (I know research, research). the only problem I have is trying to figure out how to disapate the heat better at my AGP, cpu. The back of my voodoo card sends the heat up where the northbrige (or southbridge?) empties out it's heat and the cpu is right above that! I'm thinking of adding another turbo fan where it points right to that junction to throw the expelled air towards the rear exhaust fan. Now placing the turbo fan in the right area is my problem

hmmm that would probably work at shifting the hot air to the exhaust fan/fans.... i would just go trial and error, put it in pointing at the hotspot blowing towards the exhaust fan. record new temps try again, etc etc until u find the best spot for the fan

I'm sorry. I can understand the rule about Senior Members.
However (NOT UPSET!) I didn't realize I was advertising. I understand now how it could be classified as advertising but when I put it on there I was not thinking in that direction. I have my ongoing case mod on there and was just providing a link to view pics of it in hopes someone could offer advice on fan placement/suggestions. Again, sir, my apologies.
