View Full Version : Dual boot win2k & win98 ?

I just want to know (it might happen someday !) if I can dual boot win2k installed on a NTFS (something like that) and win 98 ?

You can, but I'm pretty sure that you'll have to install 98, then 2000. 2000 has a built-in boot loader that lets you choose at startup, and 98 demands that it lives in the primary partition.

You'll also have to have them on separate partitions (win9x only uses FAT, no NTFS)

Ive dual booted ME on FAT and 2000 on NTFS...It worked great but only form the 2000 side, FAT cant see NTFS, so of your planing on dual booting go straight FAT
