Socket T water blocks ?

If it is as it sounds, watercooling might be pointless, suposelly theres a 10% overclock limit. thats not much, 3000mhz would only oc to 3300mhz and there wont be much difference in temps.

Well the way there cooling soloutions look it may be a reality that intel might include a wc kit with there chips eh..?

intel's already to cheap to provide copper heatspreaders.
 
hmmmmmmmmmmm copper eh? what about nickel plated copper?

wasnt it amd that has aluminum heat spreaders? or has that changed since a long time a go?

i thought they both had aluminum heatspreaders.. pretty sure, i was reading a thread about it not too long ago... u were in it too i think! :p
 
They both use nickel plated copper.

You'd have to go back several years to find a CPU with an aluminum lid.
