Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm at work and don't have too much time to do searches through the forums or google.

Anyway I'm looking for a free program that will allow me to see which program is using how much bandwidth and give details of total bytes transferred.

The computing services here at the University have repeately threaten to shut down our connection because they're convinced we have a trojan and I'm sure we're not becuase I've taken all the necessary precautions. Anyway they say we're serving 200mb+ a day and I need to know which program is sending out all that data. This not being my computer I'm not exactly sure what's installed but virus scans, security scans and manual scans of installed programs and running applications tell me there is nothing bad but I still want to know what's sending out all that data.
Anyway thanks in advance.

Sorry, nevermind I think the firewall installed on this computer allows for that (Sygate). I was just looking under connections, but you have to use the view menu to change that to application details.
I just hope what's displayed is bytes and not number of connections :o

I am not sure if it fits the bill but try netstat live from AnalogX
