Battlefield Vietnam Problems! :(

Hey All,

I don't know why this is happening...but my highest resolution I can select on BFV is 1280x960....well thats all fine and dandy, except that my LCD doesn't support that. It has to be 1280x1024. I have heard of MANY others using that resolution. I even updated to Version 1.02. Is there something I can do to fix this!?!? THANKS!

I know this isn't going to be a lot of help, but a friend of mine had a similar problem with Battlefield 1942. I fixed the problem for him but I can't remember exactly what it was that we did. I searched the net and found a site that told how to change the value of a file from 0 to 1 I believe and I think it was a refresh value. I just can't find the folder in my files right now. I will keep looking for you and don't worry, it's easy to fix once we find the right folder...

"Go into C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam\Mods\BfVietnam\settings\Profiles\Custom and then open Video.con with notepad.

Enter the Resolution you want then start the game, Restart, and click on Multiplayer or Single Player (do not choose a profile). If you ever select a profile again, you'll have to redo it. You will need a working 800x600 resolution for the game's menu."

You might be S. O. L. though if you LCD won't support it. Good Luck!
