I have been using this for a little while now and it does work. My cpu runs an extra 3-4c cooler.

I have been using this hack for a long while but I don't see any real benefit for overclocking. If your browsing the web and doing light work your temps will still be much lower if you use the hack. I don't reccomend doing this if your are running a pelt setup since your temps will go way to low and condensation will be much worse to deal with.

Sorry fuzzba11 this hack only works for AMD duron / t-bird motherboards.

Actually there's an easier way to do this han using wpcredit .. Download cpucool, not only does it have a feature that's called 'forced athlon cooling', which does exactly the same as the wpcredit thing, but it also has temp readings, tells you how much memory is available, shows disc throughput, etc. etc...
