Hi there!

I've got a TBird 800 @ 800, all default settings... And the average temp is aroung 55 - 60 degrees celsius!!!

Is this normal? I'd like to start OC on it but with this temperatures for startes ....

Any suggestion?

I forgot to say ... Asus A7V mobo ... 256 PC133 OEM RAM... 30 gig HD (IBM ATA100 7200 rpm) ... ATi Rage Fury Pro 32 MG ... Sound card, internal 56k modem, 10/100 ethernet...

What kind of cooling system are you using?

I have a 750 athlon with an A7V and if i had no case cooling and
all the covers were on, it would get 61C sometimes.
With suffecient case cooling it should be lower than that by 10-15C

At the moment i have a Water cooling setup and the temps are
great, 30-40C max.

Try get the case cooler and maybe upgrade your cooling
solution.

Well... I've got a CoolerMaster DP5-6H51 HSF over the CPU now... I've also bought a new 92 mm fan wich is in the side case panel... And a case fan (80mm) attached on the front side of the case... Temp's around 35 - 40 ºC Mobo and 45 - 50 ºC CPU...

I'm starting to OC it... I'm running STABLE at 840 Mhz (FSB 105, 8x multiplier - CPU's still locked...) and memory at 140 Mhz... Still the temp's aren't getting higher than those I've written...

Any ideas on how to improve the temps with very low costs?

Motherboard's temperature is actually 31ºC... But the vcore is maybe a bit high... 1.92 V... I'm setting it back to default (1.78v).. Hope this improves a little!
