Connecting 2hds & dvdrw/dvd drives

Well, I recently bought a DVDrw drive (Nd 2510A) connected to 2nd ide as master and dvd as 2nd ide slave, all was fine to start with, after formating some dvdrw disc's for drag and drop, but few weeks later, it only recognise the dvdrw disc as read only disc. I'm using nero6 (Incd) with the latest service packs. Could be the way i've connected the drives?.

put the dvd rom's jumper to master, and put it at the end of the ide, then put the dvd-rw jumper's to slave, and put it on below the dvd rom.

i already changed it, and it seems to be working again fine again, as i had a suspicion it could that, thanks.

hey..

it's starting to have the same problem again..!!!
I now discovered why it was happening.
It was daemon tools(virual cd/dvdrom) once i uninstalled all was fine.
Just thought to let you guys know.
