I need a good game!

Hey guys, im really bored and im about to go buy a game for either xbox or PC, what should I get? These are the games i have for pc...

Unreal 2 ( eh )
Call of Duty ( eh )
Unreal Tournament 2004 ( great at first, got old QUICK )
Medal of Honor AA
Need for Speed Underground
Battlefield 1942 / Desert Combat ( this is the only game i play )
Far Cry

And some others...

im not really into RPG's, but I can try them out...never really played one besides KOTOR on xbox, which was great b/c it was so simple. Any recomendations?

i just picked up Beyond Good and Evil after reading some good reviews about it and i think its well worth the $20 i spent, its a 3rd person action game worth a shot :P

NFS Underground is crap, but looks pretty.
Unreal 2 is alright I guess.

Underground was actually one of the better racers i've played on PC. Doesnt hold the candle to PGR2 on xbox though. Far Cry was OK, but aside from the graphics..it was just meh. c'mon ppl recomend more games!

Try Chronicles of Riddick for XBOX, it is really fun IMO. My favorite thing to do, is to grab the guards gun, and force him to shoot himself in the face. It is really gritty and mature though. Probably the one game I wouldn't let my little brother play. LOL it was more graphic than the movie, and a lot better too. Seriously, it is worth a shot. I like it better than Far Cry.

I would suggest Warcraft 3. Its RPG/RTS type game and my fav at the mo.

Have you seen Gumball 3000? Me and my brother are in the Ferrari 360. Its not ours, its actually his freinds who owns this exotic car import place lol, we were going down this highway in washington DC at 180mph, it was so ****ing awesome. This wasnt in the movie though lol

I have most of the gumball vids they are funny.
A F360 my bosses sons got one of those I had a quick drive of it, he's also got a brand new Bentley Arnage and a 911 Turbo.

The 911 is amazingly quick it just keeps gripping.

1602 AD / Anno 1602 was released late 1994, its a game in which you will have to build an empire starting from scratch (one boat with supplies), and maintain that empire with trading, warfare and colonisation. The main objective was to reach a high number of satisfied inhabitants, because that would bring you lots of taxes and monuments. The graphics arent superior, but funny and colourful. It's one out of a few games in which it is actually your target of making people happy. The game is *very* enslaving, i once played a multiplayer game that took more then 20 hours. (on home LAN, with a friend) I calculated, that since the release on 1994, i played that game more then 1500 hours.

It runs very smooth on a P1 233 with 16MB ram, and im glad it runs even better on my 3.75


The prequel, 1503AD / Anno1503 was released a year ago, but isnt as popular as 1602 was then.

blitzkrieg is an insanely realistic ww2 rts but,

its only tactical and the graphics arn't to great and its only really good if your a history buff, but Im tired of having my heavy tanks killed by infantry :) (one of the only highpoints of the game is you have to use the right units to attack the enemy with) (not like in real war though :) )

anouther game that looks really good to me is full spectrum warrior for the xbox
you control two squads of soldiers and use them in a fully accurate to real life way
(the game was designed partially as a training sim for the army)

home world 2 is the only good 3d rts around (and its really fun)

starcraft was decent but imo not the greatest rts and highly overated. and the people online have been playing for years and easily kick your ***.

conquest frontier wars is an amazing game that you can pick up for like $3 now in the bargain bin. (really well balanced game :) )

if you have a fair amount of time on your hands get civ 3 its insanely addicting and fun

even though you seem not to be into rts all that much you may want to give it a shot conquest frontier wars is a great game thats cheap and you may like it (or at the very least be entertained until hl2 is released) same with the older c&c games (generals sucks)

noone yet has suggested any rockstar games...try GTA3 or GTA:VC. Manhunt is a great game too..
