Right now my setup is this ..

seagate 120 gb HD on Primary IDE master
primary IDE slave empty
NEC 2500A DVD burner on Secondary IDE master
liteON DVD/CDRW combo on Secondary IDE slave
2 HD on SATA 1 and 2

im more concern with the two burners i have..
what would be the best configuration to have for the burners?

thx for all ur response

the way you have it is fine. You should put the 2 hd's on sata 1 and 2 and make them a raid 0, run the os and programs from there, then use the 120gb seagate off the primary ide as storage/backup

the 2 HD on SATA is not the same. one is a raptor and the other is seagate.
my OS is on the raptor. so i won't be able to raid 0 on the two HD.
