After installing W2K SP2 I get STop error inaccessible boot device

Anyone ever get this. EVERY single time I install service pack 1 or 2 for windows 2000 I get a Windows stop error on bootup saying I have an inaccessible boot device. The copy of windows 2000 I have is an OEM version that doesn't require a serial number to install. I was thinking that maybe it wasn't a final build... Not quite sure but its ****ing me off. Anyone experience this?

YES!
I posted about this awhile back.

It is an incompatibility with the ide drivers: the new atapi.sys isn't working.
