I cant get quite a few things to install from CD rom. Nothing automatically pops open when I put in the install disc. When I browse to the setup file and try to run it says that it is not a valid win32 appilication. I have no idea what is going on, any help?

sounds like the cd-rom is having trouble reading the discs properly. you can try using some compressed air to try to clean the insides a bit. Also, try booting from a bootable CD to see if it reads them properly in DOS, to rule out Windows drivers/files as a potential problem.

It can read them good enough to list the files on the CD, plus I forgot to add this is a practically brand new system.

It sounds like a faulty CD-ROM drive to me as well. RMA it if you can.
