Just got FarCry how should it be running?

Got my new 9800Pro today, haven't been home yet to install it however I bought FarCry today aswell.

How will it run on my system?

AMD 2.3Ghz 32bit
Sapphire 9800Pro
Asus A7N8X-D
512MB 2.5-3-3-11
7200rpm 8mb Maxtor
512k connection

Any other hardware that affects this game?

Your game will probably be a little laggy feeling at times with the 512 MB. To get the most out of Far Cry you pretty much need 1 GB of RAM.

It will run fine for the most part, but Far Cry loves high memory bandwidth and lots-o-ram.

You should be able to run all details at "Very High" with the res at 1024x768. Those are the settings I use when playing on the 2nd machine listed in my sig, which is very similar to your specs.

You will be laggy occasionally during paging until you get a full 1GB - you can tweak some settings to alleviate this though, or get a full 1GB and run it all out at 1024x768.
