What are some Kool Keryboard mods i could do? i got a Memorex MX2500



I thikn i wanna put some LED's under the keys and light it up.

Paint that puppy! Get some "Lettra-set" at an art supply store so you can put the letters and #'s back on your keyboard and all is good!

That gives me an awesome idea! Rig ultrabright leds or EL cable so that when the Numlock button is pressed, the numberpad lights up. when capslock is pressed, the letters section lights. When scroll lock is pressed, the arrows and pg up/down area lights. That would be friggin awesome! Anyone have any ideas/help on upping the voltge? I wanna run off the power supplied by the keyboard leds. Thanks!

i just modded my key board and i think it turned out awsome! i sprayed a really thin coat of flat red paint, so theres like a little bit of white still showing, then i took an extra keyboard that was see through blue, and i made like every other key clear-blue so its like a checkerboard of white and clear blue keys. there was three LED's under the keys and it looked awsome! but then i burnt out the leds because i put too much power into them. oh well, ill buy some more and ill think ill try what you were sayin about pressin the caps lock and all the keys light up, that'd be tight

Get the rope neon, or the wire neon, what ever they call it. Run that through your keyboard under the keys. It looks awesome.

I really like that idea though! Especially if the keyboard had translucent keys. :cool:
