hello
i have a 9800 pro 128MB with an A-C VGA silencer rev.3 .
when i changed the heatsink(from the original one) i expected to be able to go all the way to 412/365 so ill be able to flash to XT but for my disappointment im stuck on this...

before the silencer i was able to get to 362 Mem mhz.
i think my problam is not having ramsinks over my ram modules and because the silencer gets so warm the rams get even hotter.
i thought my problem might be that i placed 2 much thermal paste, but then - how will the silencer get so hot if the heat transfer wasnt good?
please help me figure it out.

this scores were made using ATI Tool.
i now installed Radlinker and it doesnt even let me raise the core speed over 380...
thats some weird stuff.
please help! is there something wrong with my card?

I've had a couple of 9800 Pros that could not reliably go 400MHz core even using a big copper cpu heatsink. However, the lowest memory OC I have gotten thus far is about 365MHz (Have tried 3 cards in the last couple of months), so I think your low memory clock is rather troubling.
