I have the criticool powerplant resevoir, and to make an air tight seal you're supposed to use teflon tape on the barbs and the air caps. However, for the caps, whenever you have to take them off bits of teflon fall into the res. and I'm worried it could contaminate the system. Is there an alternative that seals the threads without flaking apart when you take them off?

Well if you never tip/flip your computer, you don't really need a perfect seal there. You could always just use the cap without any sealant. Just a thought.
