Peltiers question

I heard in lots of places that people were using their peltiers with watercooling systems. What I want to know is if you can use peltiers directly on the CPU, without any watercooling system ?

No it would only get the CPU hotter they way a pelt works is it needs a way to remove heat for one side to become cold on the other side to remove heat you need water cooling, air cooling will work only on small pelts with a CPU that does not produce much heat.

Thanks, outhouse. (I was about to do that !)(actually, I would have had to remove the currently glued HSF, but I would have tryied it !) You saved me from getting my CPU directly into the JUNKYARD !!!:p
