Not much else to say... I'd rather not spend more than $25.
Also, how important is lapping the heatsink? Considering doing it before I apply AS5.

I'm using this one (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=35-150-033&DEPA=1) with decent results. It's not much, but it gets the job done for a mildly overclocked 3.0C (3.45)

For $25 you aren't going to get the best around. However a friend has one of these (or rather the AMD version) and it does pretty well: Aero 4 (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=35-103-138&depa=1).
Seriously though, the best you can get would be a Thermalright. The SP series is the best, but the reality is that everything from an SLK800 up is within a few degrees of each other. I use the SLK900A on one machine. Only cost me £25 in a sale, so have a look around.
