How many watt would be enough for 3Ghz 800 bus HT and a 160gb harddrive and 512 pc32000? My new pc shut itself off when I turned on for 30 secs and i could barely get into the bios  . I guess it must be the power supply is not enough. Currently i have a cheapo 350w powersupply, could it be it?:(

Could be. It could also be heat related.

Figure out if its the PSU by minimizing the power draw:

Detach any secondary drives or CDROMs, and just leave the primary HDD. Remove any PC devices other than the video card. Use one stick of RAM. Detach power from all fans except the heatsink fan and leave your case open.

How certain are you that the HSF is mounted and applied correctly?

Could also be your HSF is not installed properly
