Question about my Asus A7m266 and ATA100 drivers...

Ok.. I have an ATA100 drive. Do I need to do anything special or install any special drivers to get it to run at ATA 100 with this motherboard? I've always just plugged the darn drive in and never installed any drivers. I heard that this might not work to get the benefits of ATA 100. Also how do i know if I have an ATA100 cable. Is there a visual difference?

It's perfectly fine, just delete this post and repost up in the right section, it's a bit more orginized that way.

Your board will ship with the appropriate ATA100 cables. They're aren't any special drivers to run at the ATA100 specs.
