DX9.0c? Anyone tried?

Just put on a fresh copy of XP Pro.

I'm going to do some tweaking them run both 3dmarks.

See what I get.
What do you guys think of dx9.0c?

Still a beta so I've not realy went for it. won't be full version till SP2 I've heard. If your game give it a go. see how it does.

I tried it, no discernible difference between DX9.0c and 9.0b at all, in either 3dmark.

It's probably just DX9 with another set of security patches; DX9 went up to b because of a HUGE security hole, if I remember correctly.

It's still slower than DX 8.1, but I use it because I like Farcry.

9.0c seems to only really help the x800 series

Wouldn't it only realy help the 6800series cards? Since the major update is PS 3.0 support. and those are the only cards that will support PS 3.0
