x800pro vs x800xt

Can you or will you be able to convert a x800 PRO to a X800 XT like the 9800 Pro to 9800 XT? If so how?

here's the low down:

certain regular x800pros (depends on core? no way to tell really :() can be converted to x800xt by taking off the heatsink, and connecting two tiny bridges with conductive paint.

(almost?) all x800pro's with VIVO can be simply flashed (flash to xt bios, then flash back to pro) to open up the extra 4 pipelines.



there you have it, good luck finding one in stock with a decent price.

IMHO it's better to preorder a xt-pe for only $400 and wait a little bit ;)
