Hi,

I've read most of the articles posted at this posting:
http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=88976

But, the only thing that I want to do is to have a seperate psu for the fans within my case. I have the following setup:

Asus P4P800 del, 2.4c Intel HT w/Thermaltake cooler (not overclocked)
1 gig corsair ram
Thermaltake 1000a case w/ 7 fans (not being used)...I have a floor fan blowing into the case. The cpu runs at 78 F and the board at 80 F.
4 hdds, cdrom, cdburner
Sblive value
PNY Vetro Geforce FX 5600 Ultra
PSU Prosource 481 Watt ATX switching power supply. Can this cpu run everything in this machine? I don't have the funds to buy the psu that I want right now for this case...a 550 watt psu, which could run everything. I do have a 250 watt psu from an older case that could run all the fans. This psu has a thick, black cable running to it with a power on switch that has a grounding wire. Is it possible to use this psu without connecting it to the other psu?

Any help or advice appreciated.

Thanks,

Octavious
