Anyone tried making a beehive. Here my ideal for a beehive. Drill 2 main holes for the inlet and outlet at the size of the pipeing then drill a lot of small holes to move the water in the block. Drill the smaller holes at the top and bottom of the block in two levels. Also drill them so they have more volume then the inlet and out let pipes, too slow down the flow of water in the block. And make them as small as possible. anyone try this or have any thoughts.

Beehives are should be quite common as they are arguably the easiest waterblock to construct using the minimum of a workshop's tools (just a small desk drill). Beware of the high head losses (pressure loss that saps energy from the pump) due to the many sharp angles and burrs.

Can someone give an explanation of just what you mean by a beehive?
