I was wondering, how is this heatsink? Would it be better then a Thermoengine with a YS Tech fan (Both HSF's would be using YS Tech 26 cfm fans)?

yes it would be much better.
sorry william
don't mean to slam you but...
The SH-6 that everyone is talking about is not this SK-6
This SK-6ab (the AMD aprovced version) is not the same SK-6 that everyone is used to.
There are two versions of the SK-6 floating around out there. A regular SK-6 (with a copper base) when combined with the 38delta screamer which is a monster of a heatsink.
And an SK-6ab (with an aluminium base) which is AMD aproved because of it's lighter base which puts it underneth the wieght limit.
Edited:
Wow I was half in the bag (well way more than half) when I wrote that.
William is exactly correct. It would be a much better cooling solution.
However you should opt for the all copper SK-6. And not the SK-6ab

Ok, so the SK-6ab (which has an aluminum base) would be better then the Thermoengine?
Thanks a lot. :D
Would anyone happen to know where I could buy this heatsink?

only know where to get a regular SK-6 though. They are going to be better. http://www.millisec.com and http://ww.2cooltek.com both have them.

I have seached long and far. But to no avail. I can not find the SK-6ab for sale anywhere. If you want that one you are going to have to call thermalright and see if you can get it directly from them.
Other than that,
The best AMD approved HSF that I can find would be a globalwin WBK38. It's kind of dated but the best officially approved you are gonna get.
Most of the new hi performance HSF out there are made of copper for its better heat dissipation and heat distribution properties. And copper is much heavier than aluminium. 3.285 times heavier.
I would still go with the SK-6. It is an awesome HSF and it is only 30grams over the 300 gram wieght limit.
(my MC462-A is over a pound over the wieght limit)
